Lovely place for a business meeting. Quiet atmosphere and pleasant, modern, spacious feel to it. Very polite staff and fast service. I met a banker there for a chat about our business growth plans. We enjoyed an uninterrupted discussion.

Excellent food at really reasonable prices. Quite a wide range of breakfasts and lunches available as well as coffee-n-cake selection. Service with a smile, comfortable furniture, plenty of room. Excellent. ***Tried the Lamb stew today. OMG, get here quick and get some of the greatest stew ever made. Plenty of lamb and good veg in a beautiful red wine gravy.

Lovely cafe with warm and quick service, good food, lots of seating, and clean toilets. There’s plenty of parking too, given that the cafe, store and museum are all adjacent to each other.

Such a great little stop! Food came out so quick, good coffee, cute sit down areas, great range of vegetarian options. Highly recommend. Also love their replies to the negative reviews here those reviews don’t even sound genuine, perhaps a competitor trying to drag a good cafe down? Who knows but we loved this place on our road trip

Stopped in to get a takeaway Coffee and a Bacon and Egg roll, staff were very friendly and accommodating, even put my sugar in my cup, must have been my Irish accent. One of the best Bacon and Egg rolls I’ve ever had, fresh as, egg perfectly cooked and plenty of bacon on a soft roll, couldn’t ask for more. Coffee perfect blend

My partner and I absolutely love Mortels Cafe. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is really nice and cosy but rustic. Some of the staff are really lovely and the coffee sizes are very generous. It's a definite go to!
